My First NSV!!

I had my first little NSV (non-scale victory) this morning!  At this point, I'm hovering just under 20 lbs lost.  And for someone of my size (I started at 297), its not too noticeable right now to most people (myself included).

BUT... this morning when I grabbed my favorite pair of jeans out of the dryer and put them on, I noticed that they didn't fit as snug as they usually do after they've been washed!  Usually I have to wiggle into them and do a few lunges and squats to loosen those bad boys up a tad.

((you KNOW you know what I'm talking about ladies)).

But today they slipped right on a buttoned up with no problem and they were COMFORTABLE!!  No crazy muffin top from too-tight-just-outta-the-dryer jeans!  WOOHOO!!

  7. I am flirting with 20lbs down (hovering around 18 right now) and have finally started noticing a slight difference in clothing. It's a great feeling!

  8. You're going to get *REALLY* used to your pants falling right off your body. I mean, not just droopy-butt syndrome, but actually "they-are-falling-off-your-hips-even-though-they-are-buttoned-up" kind of falling off. That's my marker for when to toss a pair of pants into the "too big bin." Get used to it -- you're going to go through that a LOT!! It's a terrific feeling! And as a side note...are you taking actual body measurements so you can track how many inches you lose? I recommend it!

  9. Congratulations! I am so happy for you! I myself am one week away from being banded. My starting weight was 298 and I am at 292 so far :) I really can't say what size panst I am kuz all my pants are stretchy material hehe. But I might just go in an try some pants to see where I am in size now and where I will be down the road.
